LaTeX templates and examples — University

This is a template for MIT theses formatted according to the requirements of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Libraries (as posted in 2024): https://libraries.mit.edu/distinctive-collections/thesis-specs/ This template is appropriate for MIT theses of all types.

This template has been built to help students' easier adoption of Latex for their thesis. It comes with many features out of the box, with several examples. I hope that this template will help save HDR students time (and stress). I will be frequently updating/improving this template, so please provide feedback so that future students can benefit from it. A LaTeX template for reports, theses and disserations following the guidelines of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Stellenbosch University. The template adheres to the requirements specified at https://www.sun.ac.za/english/research-innovation/Research-Development/Postgraduate%20Skills%20Development/Postgraduate%20Office%20Formatting%20Guidelines.pdf.

Template for a report such as a BSc or MSc thesis following the TU Delft corporate design, using the font family Roboto Slab and Arial or alternatively using the LaTeX package 'Fourier'. The template extends and updates the report template by K.P. Hart.

It supports theses written in Chinese or English. The verification page can be typeset by the template or replaced with a signed PDF or scan. Cover and body-page watermarks can be configured separately. Grayscale-printing mode allows pages without color figures to be printed more cheaply in grayscale. Line spacing follows NTU requirements and uses the same calculation method as Microsoft Word. Bibliographies use biblatex with Biber. Python utilities are also included for setting up a reproducible LaTeX environment, generating the cover and spine, and producing JavaScript helpers for the NTU thesis submission system.
