  • Overleaf Server Pro 2.4.0 is now available!

    Following swiftly on from the release of Server Pro 2.3.0 in June, we’re pleased to announce that Server Pro 2.4.0 is now available. This latest release brings our audit log—which provides a log of when specific changes are made to user settings—as well as some bug fixes and other minor changes.

    What’s new in Overleaf Server Pro 2.4.0?

    This release is primarily a number of minor improvements but our main highlights are:

    New Feature

    • Audit Log: a log detailing when specific changes are made to user settings, as shown in the screenshot below:

    Bugfixes

    • This release fixes an important security issue: previously, it was possible for a specially crafted websocket request to bypass project authorization checks.

    Other Changes

    • Many small improvements and bugfixes.

    How can you upgrade?

    Existing Server Pro Customer

    If you’re an existing Overleaf Server Pro customer get your new image upgrade for Overleaf Server Pro 2.4.0 here.
