Web security issues remain a major challenge with numerous security concerns, Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDos) leads among these. It was evolved from DOS and its main purpose is to consume large amount of server resources so that the server cannot provide service to normal users. Attackers usually gain access to large number of computers by exploiting the vulnerabilities to set up attack armies (i.e., Botnets). This paper will review and analyse different existing DDoS detecting techniques against different parameters, and propose a new hybrid architecture for the defence mechanism of DDoS attack.

A explicit solution to a nonlinear matrix equation in n=3 dimension.

In this journal, I will discuss modern day environmental exploitation as it relates to native americans. In my research, I found no shortage of opposition to the dangers of natural resource extraction on tribal lands. While tribes remain sovereign nations, the overarching authority and loopholes of federal and state governments force many indigenous people to remain vulnerable to the violences of capitalism. Against all odds, native individuals and organizations throughout the country, and globe, meet these offenses with fervent opposition. Here, I will explore the tactics and victories of Indigenous North Americans.

FPGA stands for Field Programmable Gate Array. It is an integrated circuit that can be configured by the user in order to implement digital logic functions of varying complexities. This report concerns FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays). The basic FPGA blocks, I/O, CLBs (Combinational Logic Blocks), and architecture, the advantages of FPGAs are discussed to impart a basic understanding of FPGA operation. Digital signal processing is an important area where FPGAs have found many applications in recent years. Interest in high-level synthesis tools for FPGAs is intensifying as FPGAs and their applications grow larger and more complex. Prospective users want to understand how well high-level synthesis tools work, both in terms of usability and quality of results. To meet this need, I have prepared this paper that presents a brief introduction to the FPGA.

A note on gradient-based optimization.

\noindent It was required to measure the focal lenghts of different lenses that are in the optics laboratory, each one of this lenses have a thoerical focal lenght provided by the fabricant; to measure and check these lenghts an experimental arrangement was placed with a rail mounted to place the lenses, a laser and a screen. The focal lenghts were measured and checked succesfully, leading us to the image formation of each lens using the same arrangement, but instead of the laser, an halogen ligh source was used. The different images and magnifications were obtained due to different distances of the lamp placement.

These are concise notes for Professor Mihai Sirbu's Stochastic Process course. The notes are organized with the intention of making the proofs and ideas easy to follow. I will continue to update these notes. Feel free to copy them and do as you please. -Bryan
