\frametitle{Beamer template: ulund}
Start by including the beamer template \texttt{ulund}. The preamble for this document is essentially:
\begin{CodeBox}{}
\documentclass[aspectratio=1610]{beamer}
\usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
\usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
\usetheme{ulund}
\title[ulund beamer]{ulund beamer template}

\frametitle{Options}
The ulund theme comes with some options, as a comma separated list, set with
\texttt{\txtbs usetheme[<options>]\{ulund\}}.\newline
The options are (default value in [\ ]):
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{titleimagecolor=\{[gray], darkgray, red, blue, green\}}\newline
Background color of the default title frame and section frame.\newline
Color can be changed with the commnad \texttt{\txtbs titleimagecolor\{<color>\}}.
\item \texttt{titleimagemargin=<distance>} \newline
White frame around page, default 2 mm.\newline
Not more than 4 mm if you use logo in the footer
\item \texttt{navigationsymbols=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Beamer navigation symbols in the footer. Default off
\item \texttt{mathseriffont=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Serif math fonts
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}%[fragile]
\frametitle{Options (cont'd)}
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{foot=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Print footer with pagenum, title and author. Default this is turned off
\item \texttt{slidenumnofoot=\{[true], false]\}}\newline
When \texttt{foot=false}, still print slide num (lower left). Default on
\item \texttt{blackenumeratenumber=\{[true], false\}}\newline
Black enumerate numbers, otherwise Lund bronze.
\item \texttt{blackitemmark=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Black item marks, otherwise Lund bronze
\item \texttt{defaultfont=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Falls back to default beamer fonts, otherwise Palatino, Helvetica, Courier
\item \texttt{sectionframe=\{[true], false\}}\newline
Print section frame for each section.
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}%[fragile]
\frametitle{Options (logo)}
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{logo=\{[LU],LTH\}}\newline
Decide which logo to use. Default is LU. \newline
Todo: Implement logo choise for Helsingborg, N-fak and Nano Lund
\item \texttt{logocol=\{BW,[RGB],neg\}}\newline
Black/white, color or negative (white). For \texttt{BW} and \texttt{RGB} the same logo is used on the title page and the end page, but for \texttt{neg} the end page logo is in color (\texttt{RGB}).
\item \texttt{logolang=\{[eng],swe\}}\newline
English or Swedish logo text
\item \texttt{LUseal=\{[true],false\}}\newline
LU seal on lower right corner of title and section page
\item \texttt{footlogo=\{[true],false\}}\newline
Print the LU logo in the right part of the foot
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}%[fragile]
\frametitle{Options (LTH version)}
There are some differences in how diffrenet faculties want their expression of the template. The default is with the LU logo in color, with seal on title page and logo in the foot. In the LTH template apart from changig the logo, the seal and the logo in the foot is removed. There is also a gray background on each page. To implement this there are two options:
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{LTHbg=\{true,[false]\}}\newline
Prints the LTH gray background on each page.
\item \texttt{LTHtemplate}, given without argument. (it is \texttt{\{true,false\}} and the option sets it to \texttt{true}).\newline
This sets (and overrides other settings):
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{logo=LTH}
\item \texttt{footlogo=false}
\item \texttt{LUseal=false}
\item \texttt{LTHbg=true}
\end{itemize}
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}%[fragile]
\frametitle{Options (Old)}
This template has been around for some time but reasently been updated to the latest versions of the template. This has replaced some of the old options with more general, mainly to open for more versions of the logo. The following options are obsolete but should still work in the new implementation. They are kept to preserve backwords compatibility.
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{english=\{[true], false\}}\newline
English logo. otherwise Swedish.
\item \texttt{LTHlogo=\{true, [false]\}}\newline
Use LTH logo on front and end page, and LU logo in foot. Otherwise LU logo.
\item \texttt{logoBW=\{true,[false]\}}\newpage
Use black/white logo. Otherwise color
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}%[fragile]
\frametitle{Footer}
If \texttt{foot=true} it will print a footer on each page. This was given in early versions of LUs template but has been removed several years ago. It is still an option here, mainly for comapatility reaseons. In the foot there are three positions; left, mid and right. The default is
\par\strut\par
\rule{2em}{0pt}%
\begin{tikzpicture}
\draw[thin,color=lundbronze] (0,0) -- (12,0)
node[pos=0,anchor=north west,inner sep=0pt,yshift=-5pt,black]{\texttt{<short author>}}
node[pos=0.5,anchor=north,inner sep=0pt,yshift=-5pt,black]{\texttt{<short title>}}
node[pos=1,anchor=north east,inner sep=0pt,yshift=-5pt,black]{\texttt{<frame number>}};
\end{tikzpicture}
\par\strut\par
To set other contents use the commands (here with default value)
\begin{itemize}
\item \texttt{\txtbs ulundfootleft\{\txtbs insertshortauthor\}}
\item \texttt{\txtbs ulundfootmid\{\txtbs insertshorttitle\}}
\item \texttt{\txtbs ulundfootright\{\txtbs insertframenumber\}}\newline
To get total number of frames in the page number use e.g. \texttt{\txtbs insertframenumber:\txtbs inserttotalframenumber}
\end{itemize}
\end{frame}
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%
\begin{frame}[fragile]
\frametitle{Title page}
The title page is printed with the command \texttt{\txtbs titlepage} inside a frame.
\begin{CodeBox}{}
\begin{frame}[plain]% plain removes header and footer
\titlepage
\end{frame}% (*)
\end{CodeBox}
\verb|(*)|{\footnotesize The \% is needed to make the verbatim listing happy. Without it I get an error. Not sure why.}
\strut\par
The title page has by deault a coloured background, the chose logo in the left upper corner, the seal in the lower right corner, and the title and author in a white box. Instead of the standard monochrome background, any image can be used. Include by setting \texttt{\txtbs titleimage\{<image>\}}, e.g. \texttt{\txtbs titleimage\{Pictures/titlepictureGroup\}} as on the next frame. Reset with \texttt{\txtbs titleimage\{\}}. The image is printed scaled and cropped so it fits the whole page, with aligned to the lower left corner.
\par\strut\par
If you have a dark image it is recommended to use the option \texttt{logocol=neg}.

\frametitle{To do}
\framesubtitle{(Some day)}
There are allways more to do and more stuff to include in the template and the examples. Some things are:
\begin{itemize}
\item Command \texttt{\txtbs sectionimage\{\}} to put optional image on section slide. It can aslo be to put images on normal slides as backgrounds.
\item Fill parts of slide, say half or one third, from top to bottom with an image. Or several images. This can probably be an example, showin how to find the corners.
\item Options for other logos than LU and LTH. I will try to include Campus Helsingborg, N-fak, and NanoLund, since I have those logos. If there is a demand for more let me know. It is fairly straight forward, but it does not write itself.
\item Command for second logo. Or an optional logo and put whatever you like there. It can even be by an example to shouw how to put whatever as a logo.
